The CIQS is thrilled to announce that registration is open for Congress 2025 in Winnipeg, Manitoba.
Dates for the 2025 Congress are June 19-21, 2025, and will take place at the Delta Hotels Winnipeg.
Our program will present a strong balance of speaker sessions and networking opportunities that are important for business and professional development. We continue to hope that this format makes it easier for you, the member, to make a strong case for your employer to pay for you to attend Congress every year.
A Call for Presentations was issued September 3 and we will be accepting submissions until November 1, 2024. Check our Congress microsite here for updates on scheduled presentations, speaker bios, etc.
New This Year
This year we will be hosting the Welcome Reception at the Canadian Museum for Human Rights. The Welcome Reception is included with the Congress Combo and Congress registrations.
A separate ticket must be purchased for those opting to attend for a single day. Guests are more than welcome to attend and must also purchase a separate ticket. Tickets are available under the Program Options once a registration option has been selected.
Shuttles will be provided from the hotel to the venue and vice versa during specified times. More details will be released closer to the event.

Cancellation Policy
If you are unable to attend Congress after paying for your registration fee, CIQS offers the following options:
1.Substitute the Delegate
Should you wish to send someone in your place, please notify us in writing at minimum of 7 days prior to the opening of Congress (June 19, 2025) via email to [email protected]. Please include the full name and contact information of the individual as well as if they are a member of CIQS.
2. Cancellation
Cancellation notice must be received in writing via email to [email protected]. Refunds will be determined on based on the following:
- Up to 30 days prior to the start of the event - Full refund less the $100 cancellation fee
- 0-29 days prior to the start of the event - No refund
Please note that that CIQS will not be issuing refunds to individuals whose visa applications are not accepted, or are received too late under the secondary refund condition above.
