Tammy Stockley, PQS(F), Director, Altus Group
Tammy began her career in Quantity Surveying Consulting in 1992 after graduating from Architectural Engineering Technology in St. John’s NL. Her professional career roles evolved from cost planner, cost consultant, senior cost consultant, associate, associate director, and to director in her current position with Altus Group’s Development Advisory Business Unit.
She leads the Atlantic team, specializing in both the public and private sector market on project delivery mandates. During her 30-year career, her experience has spanned from working on projects of varying complexities delivering pre-construction estimating and project monitoring services.
Tammy joined the CIQS board of directors in 2019 and was elected as vice-chair of the CIQS in 2022. She has also served as chair of CIQS’ external relations committee, helping to advocate awareness to stakeholders of the professional services of CIQS designate members and she continues to be an integral member of the CIQS advocacy team. Tammy served as past chair of the CIQS Newfoundland and Labrador Chapter and remains actively involved in local meetings/events. From the decision to choose a career path in either an architecture or accounting field, she has not looked back, as she considers the PQS route a perfect blend of both. Tammy was bestowed CIQS fellowship in 2022, in recognition of her meritorious contribution to CIQS and advancement of the profession.
