Although we are taking care to include some exciting networking events, the main focus of our annual Congress is education. It will feature two full days of technical education, which will qualify for CPD points for our PQS and CEC members who all need to acquire 50 CPD points per year to maintain their designations. Coming together in person offers attendees the opportunity to not only gain valuable knowledge from industry experts during the technical presentations, but also a chance to speak with them throughout the event.
The CIQS Congress committee and board of directors always have the safety of its staff and Congress delegates top of mind. We are monitoring the federal and provincial government, and local health unit regulations to ensure that we can meet in-person in Ottawa in June as safely as possible. CIQS Congress delegates, speakers and staff must adhere to Ontario COVID guidelines in place, if any, at the time of the event.

CANCELLATION POLICY
If you are unable to attend Congress after paying for your registration fee, CIQS offers a variety of options:
1. Substitute the delegate
Should you wish to send another representative from your company in your place, please notify us in writing at minimum 48 hours prior to the event via email to [email protected]. Please include the name, contact information (email and phone number) and job title as well as whether or not they are a CIQS member/stakeholder or a non-member.
2. Cancellation – Delegate
Cancellation notice must be received in writing via email at [email protected]. Refunds will be made as follows:
Up to 30 days prior to start of event: Full refund less $50.00 admin fee
0-29 days prior to start of event: No refund
EXCEPTION TO OPTIONS ABOVE – COVID-19 CANCELLATION POLICY
If CIQS cancels Congress due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we will offer a full refund for all delegates and sponsorship dollars at no administrative penalty.
