Arif Ghaffur is the president and founder of Lakeland Consulting Inc, and Adjudico Inc. He is a Professional Quantity Surveyor (Fellow) and Chartered Quantity Surveyor with specializations in commercial management and dispute resolution. Arif has over 35 years of international experience in the construction industry in the United Kingdom, Hong Kong, China, the United States and Canada.
Arif is the editor of the Construction Economist, a publication of the Canadian Institute of Quantity Surveyors, vice-chair of the CIQS board and presents seminars on negotiation, mediation, adjudication and arbitration. His experience includes troubleshooting problem projects and providing expert services. He is also appointed by public bodies as a fairness monitor/advisor during the procurement of major projects.
